FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Uzbek Scientist Developing Green Energy Launches Website

Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 26 November – An international energy award-winning scientist, who has invented an alternative method for extracting energy from water flow, launched his website in November.

The new website provides the detailed information on the discoveries made by the head of the Engineering Research Group (ERG), German Treshalov. The purpose of the website is to introduce the scientist and his invention to the international community.

The highly efficient technology for extracting energy from water flow is peculiar because of specially developed turbines that use the specific hydraulic effect thanks to which the turbines will not slow down the output water stream by extracting its kinetic energy, but speed it up by extracting its potential energy, which significantly exceeds this stream’s kinetic energy. This technology for extracting energy from water current theoretically proves the possibility of creating highly efficient natural stream turbines and provides a method of mathematical calculation of their energy characteristics. The implementation of this method will help to decrease the volume of organic fuel that is burned while extracting energy.

The new technology is being patented in Central Asia, Europe, the United States and other countries. In addition, Treshalov was found the national winner from Uzbekistan at the Energy Globe Awards ceremony in Brussels on 26 May, 2008.
